Agness Oromoi is five years old and in Baby Class where she likes learning addition in mathematics. Agness has expressed that when she grows up she would like to be a doctor. Her favorite color is white and she likes playing hide and seek, as do so many of the children as well as playing with dolls. She and her older brother, Daniel, are victims of HIV and were orphaned several years ago in southeast Kenya near the Tanzanian border. She is Masai and was living in the brushy savannah where the inhabitants historically herd cattle, sheep and goats. She has lived with her extended family at The Promised Land since April of 2014.
