Peter Odongo is 7 years old, is in Nursery Class and likes math. His hardest subject is Kiswahili, which is the national language of Kenya but is very sociable and will do well in school. Peter likes playing soccer at school and hide’n’seek at home. He is an HIV victim and orphan, as his parents both died of HIV. Peter, his younger brother, Raphael Shitava and sister Lavina, are from the Luo tribe and lived in a very remote area near Kakamega, Kenya.
