James Timayo is 11 years old and currently in Baby Class at Korompoi Primary school. His favorite subject in school is English, while his hardest is Christian Religion Education. He has a desire to become a teacher when he grows up. James enjoys playing soccer in school and at home with his brothers and his favorite color is blue. His parents both died of AIDS several years ago and when he was received into the orphanage with his older brother, Moses, he was living with his elderly grand parents and some uncles. His tribe is Masai and they are herdsmen of cattle, sheep and goats in southeast Kenya near the Tanzanian border. James is a very sociable young man who enjoys the extended family of our small orphanage to which he became a part of in January of 2015.
