Stephen Odhiambo is sixteen years old and from the Luo tribe. He is in Class 7 and likes studying science and Kiswahili, the national language of Kenya and eastern Africa, and has a harder time understanding math. Stephen came into our home when he was eight and was among the original ten children to start with us. Now Stephen is one of the older remaining boys and is very good with the younger children and enjoys teaching them what he knows, especially how to play soccer, which he is very good at. When he is not playing soccer and helping with the other children, Stephen likes to read. His favorite color is red, and he would one day like to become a doctor.
